New Level 1 Russian Romany/Gypsy dance course starts on 4 March 2023

The basis of RUSSIAN GYPSY DANCE. 

Saturday at 15:30 – 16:30 pm London Time class is for Open level/Level 1

What you will learn on Russian Romani/Gypsy dance course for Open level/Level 1:

• The foundation of Russian Romany dance
• The accents, footwork and travelling steps
• Arm movements in Gypsy style combined with footwork
• Dancing with the skirt using new steps
• Combinations and little choreographies

This course provides you with some fundamentals of the Russian Gypsy dance.

All classes are recorded, you will get the video and be able to practice in your own time. Recording is available on Monday.

New LEVEL 2 course for Improvers/Intermediates starts on 4 March 2023

The Art of Vengerka in RUSSIAN GYPSY DANCE Choreography course.

Saturday 16:45 – 17:45 pm London Time, the class is for Level 2

• What is Vengerka? Introduction to Vengerka style
• History of occurrence
• Main features of Vengerka
• Rhythms, character, movements, types
• Choreography

This course provides you with deeper understanding of the style, music, movements and technique used in Russian Gypsy dance. Strong fundamentals needed for further quality development in Russian Gypsy dance.

All classes are recorded, you will get the video and be able to practice in your own time. Recorded class is available on Monday.

What to wear in the class

Any top and training pants/leggings which allow you to move freely. Both ladies and gentlemen will also need Flamenco shoes for tapping and footwork. But if you do not have shoes yet, don`t worry, still come to the class and take any shoes with a little heel.
